How to shift into soul guidance

How much of your divine potential is currently activated?

Fifty percent? Ninety percent?

First, a story:

I vividly remember one moment in which I felt an even deeper shift from a society-driven focus to a soul-driven focus.

Maybe I was moving up a notch in the percentage of my divine potential?

I've never told this particular story before, but I'll share it with you now:

I was alone at my desk in my office, and I was journaling about impacting at least 100,000 people over the next five years.

Taking out my angel cards, I asked my Guides:

"Should I make plans to travel the world? Do more TV and radio shows? Write more books? What is the way forward? What should I do MORE of to have MORE impact?"

I pulled out my angel cards and drew this one:

Doreen Virtue Daily Guidance from your Angels deck

Play? What?! What kind of logic was this?

I was asking about work, my Guides, not play!! Impact! People! Seriously!

Now, you know I trust my guidance, and when I don't get it, I know that I am the block, not my Guides. When I sit with it, the guidance will always make sense and add up.

Now, to take guided action

Still saying, "Hmph!" to this silly card, I plunked myself down and got quiet in my mind and heart.

The wind blew in the trees outside, and I heard the word, "Season."

I sat longer. I paid attention to my breath. In, out. Inhale, exhale.

Then, my sense of humor crept in. I started to giggle.

I emerged from the meditation session with insight, and also with my humanity restored. I'd been driving myself so hard, and my expectations were sky high.

What season of life am I in? What would help me most, and how would I have the most impact?

Of course good things don't happen when I force them. Never!

But it's fully true that when I consistently show up, in person and online, to share the pictures and stories that move my heart, then the invitations rush in like a river.

So, that's play for me. It's what I love to do. Write, create, find, share.

I took a walk in the afternoon. I saw baby lambs, just a few days old. They were frolicking.

Frolicking! Jumping around! Racing each other!

Hey lambs, don't you have some serious work to do, like eating grass? LOL.

By the time I got back to my desk, I felt energized.

I found new photos. I set a cool new daily challenge for my Seekers.

And I even looked up a new recipe for supper (Vietnamese spring rolls).

So, yes, sometimes PLAY is exactly the right answer.

Always remember, you are guided!
