First steps to a) feeling better and b) finding direction

Almost every day I receive an email like the one I got this week:

Hi Shannon

Please advise on how to deal with this dark force over my soul, I’m so stressed I’m even thinking of quitting my job, it’s very stressing I’m suffocating.

What must I do?

and here is another one:

Hi Shannon

One special favour not to be repeated. Pleez will you give me a glimpse into my year ahead. God bless you immensely.

Yours truly

It's heartbreaking to think of how many people, around the world, are struggling for answers and direction.

They've tried everything they can imagine, and still, they don't know what to do.

The truth is that my gifts don’t really work this way. I couldn’t answer via email, even if I tried.

The way I help you is to:

  • listen to your question (and sometimes re-frame it)
  • hear your voice
  • connect with your inner guidance (angels and spirit guides)
  • amplify those messages back to you in clear, actionable steps

What can help with the “I need guidance” part?

I get so many requests from people, via email and Facebook and Twitter messenger, that I’ve come up with a form response that recommends free counseling lines. Have you ever called one?

Lifeline is not just for people who are suicidal - it’s for anyone who needs a shoulder to cry on. I know! I phoned Lifeline after I’d been mugged, and I was so freaked out I didn’t want to leave the house. In South Africa, that number is 0861 322 322.

Free counseling phone lines can help with the “feeling better” part.

What can help with the “I need guidance” part?

Those of you who’ve been following me for a while know that I have free angel cards on YouTube (please hit 'subscribe,' by the way) and a free book of 100 sample questions.

A quick way to get an answer is to choose a question (edit it for yourself) and then run the angel cards video, stopping it when you feel inspired to do so.

Link your card to your question and contemplate that as your answer.

What else can help?

  • Write your question down and carry it around with

you in your pocket. Observe your environment and

look for signs. Be alert and grateful but at ease.

  • Most complex questions can be broken down into a

series of yes/no questions that are much easier to

  • When you receive more than a yes/no, it’s often a

creative, one-word clue that will lead you towards

finding out more.

  • People might volunteer information straight to you,

without you even asking about it.

  • You might overhear people talking about your

subject on the street or in a queue. Listen.

May you find new directions now!

What about you? Are you miles away, or are you thiiiiis close to figuring out your next steps?

I wish you a map, a compass, spiritual GPS, and strong signals!
